My unforgettable experience

I went to the British Hills for the first time. In there, I could experience a lot of things. At last, I learned some important things.

First, I was amazed and see impressed that its structure. It was vast, beautiful and amazing. It was made of British style, so it reminded me of the movie, “HARRY POTTER”.

Actually, I’ve never entered the structure like this before, so I was really moved to see that. I think this kind of British style structure is very good for us, because “British Style” means different culture compare to Japan’s.

To know and learn different culture helps us to know more about that country. For example, there was one thing that upset me in there.

When I entered the room, I realized that I don’t have to take my shoes off. I think it’s very common thing, but actually, it little upset me. So first, I didn’t get used to it. So I think I could experience different culture. May be it may call, “CULTURE SHOCK”.

Secondary, I played “ SNOOKER” for the first time.

Snooker is look like billiards. But actually, I had no experience to play both sports until I came to the British Hills. The worst thing to say, I didn’t know that rule well. But the staffs taught me a rule and play together. Actually, we could communicate each other in English and enjoy ourselves. After we finished playing it, I realized that snooker attracted me a lot. I think sports are one of a good way to communicate each other. Everyone who playing sports feel the same way. We can share hardness and also happiness for the victory. As a result, we can make good relations. Moreover, if this communication tool is used in English or other languages, it must be more valuable one! This experience gave me a chance to think about relationships.

Thirdly, I had a chance to hear our school president’s thoughts.

Our president seemed very kind, he answered our questions gently. But actually, I didn’t think I could communicate with our president closely like that. I always think that university or college’s president is a very far position person and we can’t communicate each other. But our president said that he wants to be closer with students. It was surprising word for me. At the same time, I was very happy to hear that word. I thought president is very tolerance person.

One more thing that I admired him was that his challenging for language. He is challenging for language even in his age. I think almost all his age person doesn’t feel like him. That’s why I really moved and admired him.

I think that age is not a problem on learning language or for everything. In this time, my enthusiasm for studying became lower and I was little depressed for learning. So presidents talk helped me to get enthusiasm for learning language again.

In conclusion, I could learn important things in the British Hills like, different culture, human relationships by using English or sports, importance of learning. I had really good time in there. I’ll never forget about it.
