The Revolution isn’t Over
‘T.M.Revolution’
isn’t a historical thing. It is the name of the singer whose name is Takanori
Nishikawa. T.M.Revolution debuted on 13th the May, 1996 with the single
‘Dokusai-monopolize-.’ The name ‘T.M.Revolution’ means ‘Takanori Makes
Revolution.’ Takanori Nishikawa was born on 19th the September 1970
and from Shiga. His theory is this, “Be kind to others, and kind to me much
more!”
Works
T.M.Revolution’s masterpieces are ‘HIGH PRESSURE’ and ‘WHITE BREATH.’
He has released 17 singles and 7 albums up to now. The songs were mostly
composed by Daisuke Asakura and written by Akio Inoue, but Takanori Nishikawa
sometimes writes songs by himself. In many works, he especially gives concerts
aggressively. For example, he has given 45 concerts in 3 months before. This
means that he gave one concert every two days.
Concerts
T.M.Revolution’s concert entertains us in many ways. At the summer
concert in the open air, he appeared on stage in a convertible with blond
ladies and bodyguard. The concert tour that he is giving now has the theme
‘journey.’ At the opening, the broadcast on the flight says like this. “Thank you for using our this plane today.” Then,
humorous broadcast goes on. “On the flight, please obey directions of the cabin
crew (‘Cabin crew’ in this case, it may mean Takanori and other members of the band).” “Please don’t run up to the cockpit
because there is likely to be in trouble (‘Cockpit’ in this case, it means the
stage!)”
Fans
I go to T.M.Revolution’s concert to see not only Takanori but also my friends who like Takanori as I. After the encore of the
concert, we greet even if we don’t know each other. Sometimes, I speak to the
stranger in T.M.Revolution’s concert goods in daily life. The other day, I saw
a person who had a concert good’s bag, so I tried to ask her. “Are you a fan of
Takanori Nishikawa?” Thanks to it, I have many friends now. They are different
age and have different jobs. Besides, some friends live in the place where is
distant from where I live, for example Hokkaido. To make friends with many
people only by the reason that we like the same singer is a strange but
wonderful thing, I think.
Other works
Except for works as the singer, Takanori Nishikawa challenges many things. T.M.Revolution’s 17th single ‘INVOKE’ was released on 30th the October 2002. This song was used as the theme song of the animation ‘GUNDUM.’ He took part in this animation as a voice actor, too. Thanks to it, this song got a high popularity from both his fans and the animation’s fans. This single was sold out on the day of release, and it got the second place of the week’s top hits. Except for this, he has taken part in the musical and the drama before. He will keep on growing and changing from now on. This revolution isn’t over.
